The challenge was to create something edgy, bold and strong, for a soon to be released start up. The brief was that it be immediately recognizable on product labels, but true to brand. Hence the reverse out heavily modified avant garde typeface base, with black and white simplicity, on colored cloud inspired backgrounds to project the meaning of the word ether: the clear sky; the upper regions of air beyond the clouds.

Target market is high end, upwardly mobile 18-45 year olds, sold through boutique independent stores, specialty retailers, e-commerce and restaurants.
